This week's science box from Mr Science was all about magnets. We learnt how there are 2 poles on a magnet - north and south. If you had one North up with another North pole they would repel, where as if you had a south pole up with a north pole they would attract.
We also found out that the world is one big magnet. There are the 2 poles at the bottom and top and that is why compasses work.by Ryelin
